Yes, you can definitely use it to stuff a turkey! Just make sure the stuffing is completely cooled before putting it in the bird, and don’t pack it too tightly so it cooks evenly.

If so, should I be making any modifications. Asking first because I love your recipes and I normally buy a pre-stuffed turkey.

You can mix the beaten eggs in with the broth right before baking. The eggs act as a binder, helping the stuffing hold together without becoming too soggy. Just toss everything together gently to coat evenly, then transfer it to your baking dish and pop it in the oven. This way, the texture will be perfectly moist but not mushy.

I read that you recommend adding the broth right before baking so it does not get soggy. What about the beaten eggs? Thanks in advance.

With the exception of the Poultry seasoning, this is exactly my Grandma’s recipe, but it was stuffing, not dressing. Plan on making this! Happy Turkey Day!

Making the stuffing ahead with the broth already added doesn’t necessarily mean it’s ruined. The key is to ensure it’s not overly soggy. If it seems too moist, you might try baking it uncovered for a portion of the time to help some of the moisture evaporate. As long as it’s stored properly in the fridge and not left to sit too long before baking, it should still be tasty.
