I was surprised that it wasn’t too salty tasting – was just right. Had a crazy-busy day so being able to prep it ahead of time made it even better. Enjoy the weekend – we’re supposed to have some snow and I’m not ready for that yet even though I like it most of the time. Reminds me that we need to get the holiday shopping done.

Cracks me up – the visual of that is SO weird, right? I do love recipes like this for those days that are jammed packed – especially because you said the sauce can be made ahead of time. Kalamatas are the best and I remember my father letting me join him eating anchovies on saltines. We were the only ones in the family who could enjoy eating things like this. Father’s Day always reminds me of some of these things about him – he was one of the best. Will definitely add this to the menu this coming week.

The recipe is restaurant quality !! I have made Pasta Puttanesca before (different recipe) and it never tasted this good. The only change I made from your instructions was substituting anchovy paste (2 tsp) for the fillets (not an anchovy fan…slippery little suckers):) My husband is 1st generation Italian with both mom and dad born and raised in Southern Italy so for him to eat 3 bowls … that is the best acknowledgement of super success ever. I will definitely be using this as a ‘go-to’. Thank you so much for sharing !
